The Double Deck Mobile Home was designed and built for the family of businessman Fred Elizalde. The vehicle was christened ‘Hobbit II’, as it was built to go on many a rugged outdoor adventure while providing all the comfort and amenities of home. Nothing like it before or since has been seen on Philippine roads. A true double deck design, the lessons learned on this project would be put to good use in the conceptualization, planning, and construction of the Sky Jeepney.
